2025 was a very busy year for the Charity! A generous donation meant that we could provide support to three schools.  Over the past three years we had worked with two schools: Amaraia School in the East End and Adonkia school in the far west peninsula.  We were still in contact with these schools, so we invited them to submit proposals for a priority need. There was enough money to include a third school—Safer Future: Youth Technical Vocational Institute, in Allen Town.  

At Amaraia, we funded the replacement of flooring throughout the building; Adonkia was able to pave over their compound to provide a  clean and accessible play area and an outdoor stage, Safer Future built desks and benches for three classrooms.  

The funding made a significant difference to all three schools.  Not only are the changes likely to be long-lasting and have a positive impact on the schooling experience of several generations of school children but the benefits– professionally finished floors, electrified classrooms,  maneuverability on the playground for pupils in wheelchairs who never had it before and options for income-generation both indoors and outdoors to help the school administration support the running of their schools, go beyond the stated objectives for each school and can provide an element of sustainability.”
