Dr. Karin Hyde has worked for many years as an education consultant specialising in gender issues, HIV and education and early childhood development throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.   Based in Eastern and Southern Africa for over a decade, a particular focus has been the expansion of educational opportunities for girls and women and improving the quality of their experience within educational institutions.   Her voluntary work is in the same area, raising funds for scholarships, school governorships, etc.  She functions as the Secretary/Trustee.
